I'm a outgoing woman who enjoys exploring new places, people and culture. I'm very lucky to have a profession that allows plenty of time for travel and fun during the summer. I'd like to meet someone close to my own age who is bright, compassionate, open-minded and optimistic, who ideally, has a flexible schedule for travel.
I also appreciate local adventures - especially spending a day in Newport, Boston, Providence or the Cape. Living in New England is ideal for taking day or weekend trips up to Maine or down to New York City. I lived in NJ for a few years, and miss the time I spent in New York. I try to visit NYC at least a few times a year.
I became a teacher after spending most of my career in "the rat race" of advertising and public relations - constantly chasing the next client. It is so nice to travel for fun now instead of to pitch a client in one city or another, only to see hotels and airports. Teaching has allowed me a much more enjoyable quality of life. I highly recommend it! Today, in addition to teaching, I am still active in the PR industry, but only work with nonprofits or small businesses that genuinely need my help. I'm living a low-stress, happier life now and would love to meet a like-minded someone to share it with.
