I recently moved to Des Moines after living in Chicago for two years and am happy to be back in Iowa and closer to my family. I'm an IT consultant with an engineering degree from Iowa - Go Hawks! I would consider myself somewhat shy, but curious and constantly striving to learn something new. I'd like to find a guy with whom I can have intelligent conversations but also have fun and truly be myself.
I make an effort to try new restaurants, volunteer in the community, and attend shows and sporting events. I enjoy being outdoors, especially hiking in the mountains in Colorado or biking near a quiet lake in Minnesota. I played volleyball in college and continue to play in leagues and also coach an 8th grade team. I like cooking at home and hunkering down with a good book too. I'd love to find someone who enjoys some of the same things but am always open to trying something new!
I am a Christian and my faith is important to me - I'm looking for a guy with similar beliefs so we can encourage each other through life's ups and downs.
