Okay, after reading my "headline" I hope you don't think I'm an alcoholic. I promise I'm not, although I won't lie, I do enjoy a glass of wine! Everything I wrote seemed really cheesy and I like a good laugh, so that's what I was going for. I'm trying this site out because it's hard to meet new people when you work all day, keep busy with friends and family, and don't want to meet Mr. Right while drunk at a bar. It's worked for other people (so I hear), so why not?
I'm looking to meet people I wouldn't otherwise cross paths with, and I hope to find someone who is honest, straightforward, caring and mature when it comes to relationships. I live in Bettendorf and have a steady job, and enjoy being around my family and friends. Family is actually very important to me, and some day I would like to have one of my own. I feel like I'm in a good place in life and can offer a lot to someone.
I'm really into sports, and I love watching a good basketball/baseball game, playing catch or shooting around. I like walks, sitting with a glass of wine, and traveling. I also like to read, watch thunderstorms and be with someone who respects my beliefs and likes/dislikes, but who will also challenge me to try new things that we can enjoy together.
