Real. That's the one word I hope people would use to describe me. I'm not perfect - not even close really - but I try to learn from every situation and person I meet. I work hard both at the office and at the gym. I value discipline and fun - the experience and the outcome. I love exercise and travel - especially in tandem. (I did a Tough Mudder and a 150 mile bike ride in Colorado last year and am training for a Marathon in Nashville this year).
I value people who are outgoing and honest - fun and real. A healthy lifestyle is a must, but always balanced with a helping of dessert. You gotta reward yourself for all those hours in the gym, right?
I love to meet new people and love when you find that "connection" with someone. Small world stories and encounters are the best. I truly believe you can learn from every person and situation you're in.
Great food and wine with even better conversation is a perfect night. But so is a dive bar with good beer and a hockey game on TV. I like to cook and bake (but I have to give away my creations because I have NO will-power when it comes to sweets). I love to go to any sporting event, hike, bike, run, walk, and just sit outside. I love summer and being outside. I grew up on Lake Michigan and being there on a summer day or at night during the sunset feels like "home".
I like exploring big cities - New York, Boston and San Francisco are 3 of my favorites. I love to travel and look forward to more trips both here in the states and abroad.
I love spending time with my kids and watching them succeed and try new things. They are busy and active and I love every second of running them around to their various activities. (you can learn so much by listening to them talk to their friends!)
I like people who make me laugh, who are adventurous and spontaneous. I have a tendancy to be sarcastic and I appreciate "little boy" humor more than I should probably. I don't take myself too seriously and am pretty laid back
I love this journey called life and hope I find someone who is equally as passionate about living life to its fullest.
