I have a thing for storms. I love them. Unless I'm traveling. No one likes traveling through bad weather. But growing up in Colorado snow storms, South Florida hurricanes and Chicago winters has made me very suspicious of this cloudless paradise we call Los Angeles. Don't get me wrong, I love LA. It's just that instead of being trapped indoors while Mother Nature wields her iron fist of beauty, I'm outside craving the next adventure. I rarely turn down a chance to hike or take a day trip outside of LA. And while most people require some notice before agreeing to plans - I'm almost always game for last minute, spontaneous, fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants adventures.
And above all, I am in awe of the power of imagination and am proud to say that mine is wild and unruly.
