I enjoy doing and learning new things and truly hate being bored. During the past couple of years I've been able to do some pretty cool things, like caving; starting a successful blog; running a few 5ks; accidentally snorkeling with a shark; and zip-lining through the Appalachians. I just went skydiving for the first time this summer and absolutely loved it; I definitely have a new hobby!
I'm finicky about writing and I like to think things through from every angle. I enjoy good conversation, but don't feel compelled to talk, especially if I don't have anything interesting to say. Volunteering and giving back are important to me, as is my career. I have a gleefully off-kilter sense of humor that usually has more than a touch of sarcasm. I read mostly nonfiction, and love my RSS feed. I'm more of a morning person than a night owl. I don't watch much TV, but I do love my Netflix account.
My ideal match is someone who will be a partner. They need to be able to make me laugh, should be invested in their professional career, and should also have a somewhat physically active lifestyle. I enjoy exploring and want to do more traveling, so they should, too. They should be somewhat independent. (I like my me space and don't deal well with clingy.) They should be willing to engage me in debate. A desire to make the world a better place in some way is a must.
