Hi I'm Steph... Thanks for stopping by- I, apparently, am a glutton for punishment. I don't feel like Match is 'natural' and it often promotes the worst in people- I would love to meet someone the 'old fashioned' way...but in today's world that seems to be unusual. I work a lot- I love my job. I am a travel agent and I am very passionate about my work. I raise 4 great kids on my own- after 15 years in a marriage that just didn't work- unfortunately, their dad doesn't have much to do with them anymore. Most of my friends are married...the few that aren't are bitter and negative about the dating scene- I know I don't want to be like that. So what is a gal to do?
I'm attracted to a guy whos looks and interests are different then mine- so just short of hanging out at Cabelas or the weight room at the gym- meeting that special someone seems to be a challenge.
I can go on about what I would like in a partner- but I don't think a real 'match' can be summed up in a wish list. Also describing myself seems silly. All in the eye of the beholder...right?
I'll just sum it up in terms that I would consider deal breakers myself. I have a great career, so I'm stable financially. By this- I mean my bills are paid, and I live with in my means. I do live on my own..just me and the kids...I have never been in trouble with...well...anything. (I have to pass a 10 year background check for my type of work)...my kids are the most important thing in my life- I will not compromise their safety or well being for anything. I have a good relationship with my folks, and my brothers...I know right from wrong and would rather handle things straight on and honestly. I live with the philosophy of 'cause no harm'...I take my health of body and spirit seriously- physical activity, eating well and personal growth are a part of my everyday lifestyle. I have an adventurous spirit and love learning, seeing, and discovering new things and points of view.
Other then that- I guess you will have to find out on your own ;)
