I am naturally positive and laid back, and I enjoy being around people with great energy and zest for life. I love to laugh...doesn't everyone? I like to be active and enjoy spending time outside with my dog, but I also enjoy down time at home. Sometimes an afternoon or evening on the couch with a book or movie and a glass of wine is the perfect activity. Other times I like to try out a new restaurant, bar or music venue with friends. I'm equally comfortable in a cocktail dress, jeans or yoga pants. I love spending time with friends and family, playing board games and cards (Texas Hold 'em, Cutthroat and Euchre are favorites), and being introduced to new music and movies. I exercise regularly to stay healthy and energetic, and I enjoy finding food that tastes great and is good for you...believe it or not, a kale/banana/yogurt smoothie is actually quite delicious! You may see me at a Burger King drive thru when I'm travelling, but don't tell anyone. I enjoy yoga, swimming, kayaking, hiking, and I love trying new adventurous things...some of my favorites are sky diving, white water rafting, paddle boarding, parasailing, high ropes courses and trapeze! I love to travel, but I also love coming home.
I've read that each of us is a combination of the five people they spend the most time with. With that in mind, I'm looking for someone who is an optimist and looks for the best in people. Someone who is grounded, but with a sense of adventure. Someone who thinks of others first, but takes good care of themselves so they can be strong and lead others by example. Someone who is happy in their career and is looking for someone to share their life with, not to change their life. Someone who is not afraid to let their guard down. Someone who knows what they want in a partner and is not afraid to communicate openly. Someone who can laugh with me, at me, and at themselves. Afterall, a good sense of humor is essential in navigating through the adventure of life!
