I train/play in my free time and would love to find someone who either is in training too or doesn't mind the crazy schedule. That has been a hard find for me thus far. I love my career but believe that we work to live and not the other way around.
So long story short... I grew up in the South-so yes chivalry is important and yes I do like the door opened for me, actually I love the door being opened for me. I did undergrad in Western NC and absolutely LOVE the Appalachian mtns. Did a stint in the Peace Corps-Mali West Africa. Moved to Colorodo and climbed, mtn biked, boarded and developed a hero worship of tele skiers because that sport is sooo damn hard... In CO I recovered from Malaria and then decided to go to Maine for Grad School. Then to the beautiful PNW for work...and Im in love, so Im sticking around and calling this home. Want to find someone to call it home with eventually, but in the meantime...lets play!
Ha...just tried to sit down and add to my profile and realized all my pics include my cowboy hat. Funny. I promise I won't wear it out.
I tend to work hard and play hard...but don't take things too seriously. Looking for a man who is strong mentally and phyically and wants the same in his woman. I have been divorced for over a year now...and am looking for someone who is single-not in the process of a divorce or legally separated... takes a while to heal. I also think its necessary to be single for a stint to figure out who you are and what you really want. Looking for a partner in fun... A man who makes being an adult fun. I am independent and don't necessarily need a provider in the traditional sense, but do think a man should be protective of their woman. I collect running shoes, race jerseys, medals, hot jeans, sassy shoes, bikes, gym equipement and jewelry. Im a girlie jock. And if that is a feature you find attractive...send me a message. I don't really respond to winks...seems like a copout. Happy dating...
