It feels awkward when trying to describe myself and how others view me. I find that a good conversation can tell so much more about a person but here goes...
S.I.N.G.L.E- Strong, Independent, Noticeable, Generous, Loving, Enlightened....which all means being healthy emotionally to share with the right person.
I have been on an amazing journey over the last 4 yrs since I became a widow. Its hard to explain and maybe even harder to understand but I've had to discover who I am again on my own. Its incredible to find an inner strength that I never knew existed and how something good can come out of a horrible life changing event.
I've discovered that I am in love with life and embrace every moment and I don't want to waste a single day. I find I'm happiest when out on an adventure or just cuddling on the sofa or in a blanket wrapped up under the stars. I have a passion for the outdoors and I enjoy mtn biking, running 5K's, any time spent on the water, white water rafting, hiking, and my passion is zip lining. My next quest is rock climbing and going on hot air ballon ride.
I'm very comfortable in my own skin and I can dress in that "little black dress" and love wearing heels for a special night on the town or I can put hair in ponytail, throw on a hat and pair of jeans or shorts for a casual weekend to relax and enjoy doing absolutely nothing except what we feel like doing.
A sense of humor is a definite requirement as laughter is the best medicine.
It's difficult to describe the "perfect" match since perfect does not exist in any of us. I feel that two people must have a lot of the same interests and there has to be chemistry and passion for life and love. Someone who is confident in themselves and in life without being egotistical. I put a lot of time and effort into being healthy and active and would want the same in a partner to enjoy many yrs together.
I have been very blessed to have traveled to many wonderful and exotic places and I have to get to the ocean at least once or twice a year. Need sand, sea, and sun. I want to continue to travel and look forward to discovering new places.
