What to write that will distinguish me from the other billion women who are vying for your attention?! Well, you visited my page so something must have stuck, right? You would think this would be a woman's dream- talking about herself, but I find it to be a very challenging line of talking up your assets while not sounding self-deprecating. So, here it goes (a very tiny blip of who I really am): As with most women, I am a walking contradiction... for instance: I don't like to hurt peoples feelings but I am not a pushover. I am a pretty strong willed lady but know when to let it go. I love being spontaneous but Saturdays I sleep in. I would consider myself a semi-feminist but love when a guy opens the door for me. I love the water but have a irrational fear of sharks. I like to work-out and be active but I do not have a six-pack. I eat clean but I will never refuse any kind of chocolate (esp. Nutella). I wear dresses most everyday but I know how to shoot and handle a gun. I love technology but it really irritates me when people talk/text while someone's talking.. I think it's rude. I love making people laugh but I'm not one for the spot-light.
Anyways, I laugh at inappropriate times, I have no problem eating/drinking after people, I chew gum often, sometimes I'm awkward, I love to talk and hear people's stories, I am a hugger, I am not a giggler and can't stand it when girls are, I google words that I'm iffy on the spelling, I use weird expressions, I drink insane amounts of coffee, it irritates me when people don't know the difference between your and you're! and I know and quote movie lines quite often. I'm pretty confident and sometimes people think it's intimidating and I'm not approachable but totally not the case... I am really down to earth and will talk to anybody. I'm that "weird" person who makes eye contact and says hey to people I don't know. I love any sporting event (besides golf.. but if I can drive the cart, I'm in). I do have some tattoos but they are hidden. I'm generally a very happy person who likes to be positive in all situations (even if they suck). I'm really close with my family.. like me and my mother are freakishly linked. Im weirdly modest. I love Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo and soccer in general :) I worked at a preschool for 8 years while going through undergrad and grad school so my patience level is pretty impressive :) I love our military and volunteer with some organizations... Adopt-A-Platoon and HeroBox are two that I love..hey, you should check them out!
What I'm looking for... hmm the eternal question. Ideally someone who shares the same beliefs, morals, and faith as me. A man who puts Christ first and everything else second. A man who stands up for what's right. Someone who likes to stay active and fit. Someone to keep me on my toes and challenge me. It's hard to cookie-cut out the "perfect" guy, ya know? Attraction is key, but that's definitely only part of the equation.
