Oh hey! Online dating first timer...it makes me a little nervous, but I love trying new things so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I moved to the St Louis area in April of last year from New York state. I was up there working with special needs children in a therapeutic outdoor recreational environment with Americorps...absolutely loved it! Originally from Chicago (oh no! Cubs fan...I know...I know). And so far I'm liking the Lou. I would like to get out more though and explore what the city has to offer. I've got my core group of friends here but I would really like to branch out and meet more people, do more things. I'm a pretty easy-going person, I get along with almost anybody. I'm quite outgoing and love having fun with whatever I do. Going along with outgoing, I'm never really afraid to speak my mind, definitely not one to hold back. I have passions and convictions and I will be loud and proud about them. I do know however when to maintain some tact. I have kind of a weird sense of humor and get pure enjoyment out of the subtlety of things or situations, and am usually always laughing. When it comes to love, I haven't had the best of luck. I've been told I'm usually one of the guys, which leads to the ever-so-daunting "friend zone". I'm done with that. I love having my guy friends, but I'm ready for something more. I'm very open-minded, a bit adventurous, and love spontaneity. I love to talk just as much as I love to listen (I'm a bit of a story teller) and am super excited to see where life takes me!
I'm looking for a genuine person. Someone who knows who they are and what they want out of life. Someone who's ready to love and be loved in return. Someone open-minded and willing to have fun. My two biggest attraction factors are intelligence and a sense of humor. So if you're witty, sarcastic, and like talking smack...I'm your girl!
