I have a variety of interests and would love to find someone who is just as interested in learning about the things in my life as he is in wanting to share his interests with me. Indoor, outdoor, cultural, sporting, etc. Positivity, laughter and intelligence are important in life, for me and for those I surround myself with.
Travel is very important to me and I'm looking forward to doing more of it as soon as possible! I've been lots of different places for lots of different reasons. Even though I've been all over the world, one of my favorite spots is 'just outside nowhere, IA'. I try to take advantage of all DSM has to offer, so I've enjoyed taking all sorts of classes lately...cooking, zumba, painting, salsa lessons, wine tasting, etc....I've even signed up for a bonsai tree class and a rowing class soon. I feel as though I'm fairly well rounded. I'm a supporter of the theather, but I'm looking forward to opening day at the ballpark just as much. I enjoy a variety of things, but of course the "spice of life" is more enjoyable when you have someone to learn/ challenge/ laugh/ reflect on/ etc. through those experiences.
Family is important to me. Not only do I respect my parents deeply, but I'm proud to call my parents "friends". I have one sister who lives close enough to spend some good weekends together, but I wish that could be more often. I hope that the person that I choose to spend my life with will have a good relationship with their family... I also understand that sometimes friends can actually be included in a person's "family".
Upon proof-reading, I have realized that I'm also a big fan of ellipses...
