I'm the first woman on the dance floor. I'm kind. There are not many guys better than my big brother. I am very creative and I love the arts and design. I think vintage is cooler than mass produced. I prefer something old with a story and character. My tastes are eclectic. I could spend an afternoon at Caravati's salvage, or a flea market, but avoid the mall. However, nothing beats getting an XL drink, a bag of popcorn and entertaining the kids while shopping at Target while waiting for a prescription to be filled. I like to get to know the locals wherever I am and travel off the beaten path. I like to be with the most interesting and intriguing people, not necessarily the most attractive or powerful. Looks and chemistry aren't to be taken for granted either.
I believe the people in my life are there for a reason and I have brought them there through the Laws of Attraction (like attracts like). I find that the "backward steps" in life have been essential. We come to knowledge not through knowing, but through not knowing. I believe in treating the waiter with the same respect as the CEO. I think it is important to be kind.
I try not to take things personally. Better to be single than to be in a bad relationship. If it's worth it, I'll work for it; if it's not, I let it go. I need an intelligent conversation. I generally don't like chick flicks, soap operas, romance novels, or wasting my time. I like a man who is smart but also can work with his hands. Basic grammar skills are essential. Written communication beyond a text message should include proper punctualization, capitalization, and spelling. I would prefer someone who actually knows the difference between their, there and they're. It's the effort and attention that matter in this regard. I am attracted to wit, sarcasm, and intellect. I want to be with someone who values the things that I value - happiness, love, creativity, peace, and joy. Submitted from mobile
