I've come full circle. I now work a few blocks from the home I first lived in.
I grew up in Montana and could see the mountains on my walk to elementary school in the mornings.
I moved to Washington State for a year after college. I biked to work every day. My office looked out over Puget Sound and the Cascades.
The Peace Corps took me to South America. I lived among mango, mandarin, coconut and avocado trees. I sat in the shade of these trees and drank ice tea day after day listening to my neighbors speak in a language I could barely understand.
I work as a Social Worker and feel fortunate to be able to hear people's life stories and do what I can to help with their struggles.
I want a partner that finds meaning in their life work and who is someone I can be proud of.
I like dive bars and fancy restaurants. I like art museums and back alleys. I can be serious and silly. I want to be challenged. I love music and if I really like it...I like it loud.
