I moved back to Iowa after several years in Southern California about 5 years ago. I feel as though my journey has been a little unorthodox, but I do finally feel as though I'm moving in the exact direction I should be. I work full time in higher education administration and I'm also working on my MS in Counseling.
I prefer spontaneity and adventure. If I'm not out experiencing new things and meeting new people I feel like my life is stagnant and I'm just not satisfied with that. I love to go to random festivals or events and watch and interact with people who are passionate about subjects I've never thought about. Traveling is probably my favorite past time--whether it's 45 minutes away or to another country.
I'm looking for a partner--someone to travel through life with. I'm looking for something long term and real--an intimate connection. I am fiercely loyal and honest in a relationship and I expect the same in return. I've had some pretty significant bumps on the relationship path so I might come off as a little more guarded and particular than others at first--but at the end of the day, I really want a wide open, honest, and loving relationship.
I know this sounds a little trivial, but I'm not a fan motorcycles.
