I'm a graduate student in ecology at the university. I moved up to Fairbanks 4.5 years ago for school. Right now I spend most of my days teaching labs or working my thesis. I'm usually social and energetic. I spend as much time as can hanging out with friends. I like to cross country ski in the winter and swim year round. I like to spend as much time as I can outside in the summer - when I'm not in the lab. I like to cook a lot, and am usually thinking about the next thing I am going to make.
I'm looking some someone to hang out and have fun with. It would be nice if we shared interests, but if not, it's always fun to try new things. Ideally, I would like to fine someone that I can communicate and connect with, but I am hoping to take it slow and casual for a while.
I'm fairly sick of the Fairbanks dating scene. Smoky bars are fine on occasion, but they're not my thing all the time. Perhaps you're in the same boat.
