Hi, I'm Kait! The most important things to know about me are that I love my family and I’m very happy in this little life I’ve built. I’m the product of a very hard working father and a selfless, giving mother. There is much more to know, but those are most important and should tell you a lot about me.
Of less importance, I love my job, I’m comfortable in anything from jeans for a casual day to dressed up for hitting the town. I enjoy outdoor activities (hiking, biking, kayaking...) and watching sports—not so much playing as I’m a bit klutzy, but I’ll be your biggest fan. I’m fairly good with power tools and household repairs. The last home project I tackled was hanging a bifold door to close off the laundry area. I try to run a minimum of three times a week and do a 5k about once a month--always need a goal to keep it up. I really enjoy cooking, but enjoy it more when I'm cooking for more than just myself. My favorite pizza to make at home is mushroom, goat cheese and truffle oil. I frequent my town's Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings to load up on fresh food for the week.
I LOVE to laugh (who doesn't?!) and routinely laugh until I cry or my stomach hurts. I'm sarcastic without being cruel. I can dish it out and take it. I like to think of what an animal's voice would sound like if it could speak. I take time to appreciate the small things in life, like steam rising from the pavement after a spring rain, the first night that is chilly enough to pull the sleeves of a hoodie over my hands, and I could sit on the beach for days and never leave. I am an excellent little spoon but if you insist, I'll be the big spoon.
Why I'm Here:
Like you, I’m looking for someone to get to know and if it's right, make something more of it. I'm ready to find someone to share my life with and start making a life together. For the past year I’ve devoted nearly all of my time and energy to advancing in my career. While the successes I’ve achieved have been well worth it, it’s time to put my personal life back into play and this is certainly one way to do it. I don’t have a “type” so I can’t (and wouldn’t want to) look for someone who fits neatly within a predetermined mold. I’m a thoughtful and caring person, you should be too. After that, most things are up for debate.
