I'm a fun, genuine, loyal, thoughtful and happy person who sometimes finds it difficult to talk about myself, however I can talk in depth about random topics or current events. I rarely sit still for too long especially if I can be doing something outside or with my dog. I'm a former athlete who has transformed into somewhat of a distance runner. I truly enjoy going out on long runs and just soaking up my surroundings. I love trying new things and exploring places I've never been. Traveling to different countries and experiencing the cultures, is something I wish I had more time to do.
I'm close with my family who all live locally. I absolutely adore my niece and nephew and try to spend as much time with them as I can. Unfortunately, my incredible dog, Bear, just passed away after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma in January. He was my best good buddy for 8.5 years and I miss him immensely. He was the one I'd go on outings and little outdoor adventures with, so it would be nice to meet someone who I can explore with...
In terms of a "match", I'm looking for someone who will be my best friend. Someone who can effortlessly make me laugh, but can also be a strong shoulder to lean on when needed. Someone who shares similar interests and values, and someone who would be just as happy spending a cozy night at home as they would be with a night on the town. Someone who can call me on my BS, and laugh with or at me when warranted (which is often)!
I'm also looking for someone who can help me to see the bigger picture of a situation and challenge me to not 'sweat the small stuff' so much. I am goofy and quite an oddball at times, but also pulled together and professional when needed. Last but not least, I'm looking for someone who isn't afraid to be open, caring, and accepting.
