have worked hard in life for the things that I have and accomplished and take pride in that. I appreciate others who do the same, but yet at the same time, be a closet dork and act goofy. Even though 2013 is about new adventures and stepping outside of the box, I still enjoy the simple things in life, such as relaxing and being able to keep a quiet night in.
I have also signed up for my first 5k run this year and plan to sign up for a few others as well. For as much as I love the summer and warmer weather, especially since I am an outdoors person, I did just do the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. For those unaware of the event, you collect donations to be able to willingly jump into freezing cold WI water, to help raise money for Special Olympics. I never thought I would do that, but can not wait to try it again next year.
I am an honest, down to earth person,who will stand by those closest to me. I am looking to surround myself with those who are willing to do the same. I enjoying playing games such as volleyball, but I dont enjoy playing games with people's lives or emotions. I have learned just how important family and good friends are.
I believe respect and honesty are great values to live by. I can handle many speed bumps in the road, as long as there is honesty and loyalty involved.
I have not always been a big believer in dating someone who enjoys the exact same interests as I do. I believe differences in people is what allows for great conversations. Everyone has something different to bring which allows the other person to try new things as well as learn something new.
I enjoy having my own hobbies but also being able to enjoy them with someone.
