I recently completed my third year abroad as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Paraguay. During that time I tried to perfect my Spanish and learned a little of their native language (Guarani). I was also fortunate enough to travel throughout the continent. Some of my favorite adventures include visiting the Iguazu Waterfalls, exploring Machu Picchu, and seeing the salt flats in Bolivia. As you can see, I love to travel, but now it is nice to be close to family and friends.

I hope you can see that exploring new cultures and helping others is something that is important to me. However, I also enjoy a good tennis match, attempting new recipes in the kitchen (I'm a good cook), live music, amongst time spent with family and friends.
The person who I am interested in meeting would definitely have some of these core values and interests, but also some other unique qualities to offer. I love learning new things and love sharing what I know. Ideally, it would be great to meet someone who compliments who you are and continues to challenge you to be better. However, a sense humor is great too. I'm very fortunate to have amazing friends and family that are always supportive and inspiring. In a relationship, I think these qualities are just as important. Whoever your partner is, they should be your friend above anything.
