Hi! Its been a while since I had to write something about myself. To start, I think I'm a great catch! I'm a passionate and loyal person and I'm looking for the someone special to grow old with, corny as it sounds. With that said, I realize that dating is means to meet the right person and it can take a lot of trial and error. My friends would describe me as compassionate, loyal, smart, sophisticated, opinionated, dedicated, outgoing and trustworthy. At times I can be a little nerdy and sarcastic.
I joined match to meet someone I'm compatible with. I am not looking for hookups at this stage of my life. I like to take care of myself emotionally and physically and get massages and go do the girly stuff at the spa often to balance my the stress from my demanding career. Despite this, I can get my hands dirty and wouldn't mind hiking, camping, or outdoor sports. I try to work out as often as my schedule allows and like spinning and core strengthening activities. I recentlly ran my first 5K race and I'm proud of myself for sticking to it and getting past the initial intimidation. I was a sprinter in high school and anything longer than 400 meters is "distance." :)
What I am looking for: I hate reading this part in people's profiles where they have an unrealistic laundry list of requirements.
It is extremely important to me to meet someon who is SECURE with himself, has a POSITIVE outlook on life and understands the importance that love, respect and appreciation play in a relationship. I have attended a few very prestigious universites and I worked really hard to get where I am professionally and financially. It is important that I meet a man who is not intimidated by this and has some plan for his future. I am working to find a balance between work and relaxation and spending time with family and friends and I would like to meet someone who has similar values.
Basically, I want to continue to grow as a person and try new things. I haven't traveled as much as I would have liked but I am actively making time in my unique schedule to travel and relax. I would love to meet someone who will travel with me, especially outside of the United States. An ideal partner is someone who considers himself an equal; someone who wants to continue to grow, learn and explore and become a better person in the process.
