In the Lifetime Movie biopic of my life, Megan Mullally would probably be cast to play me. Frequently cast as the witty sidekick (with a killer belt voice) in my music theater days. These days I am equally at home in black-tie mode and crashed-on-the-couch-watching-college-football-in-sweats mode (preferably SEC now that I have discovered the stealth SEC channel on Uverse). I strive to be kind and compassionate. I love music, good food and great wine.
I love my two girls to pieces - they are amazing and crack me up every single day! After my kids, music is the next most important thing in my life. It permeates all corners of my existence, and I'm totally fine with that. I love my job - it's definitely not 9-5, but I wouldn't be happy if it was. I spend every day with amazing people with amazing gifts, and I am often in awe of my life that I get paid to do this.
I'm hoping to find someone compassionate, amusing and amuse-able who wants to spend time indulging our inner foodies, dragging me out on a run, and laughing a lot because there is plenty in life to be laughed at.
That said, I do have one issue about which I will be up front: I hate sushi. I could lose my artsy-chick card at any moment for this egregious failing, but I've tried all kinds of sushi and sashimi, and beyond the veggie roll and occasional California roll, it will forever be referred to as "catfood" in my lexicon. If you can overlook this, we'll be good. ;-)
