How does one get across in a Match.com profile that they're cool and normal? This is way tougher than I thought it would be, especially for me because I'm a bit more reserved when it comes to putting my personal resume online.
As for me, I was raised with good southern manners but I have been known to put an ice cube in my red wine because I prefer it that way. I'm an avid reader and love to curl up with a good book but you will also catching my yelling at my TV over a good Hokie football game.
I am a born and raised Virginia girl. A person once told me that "Virginia was their dream state." I never thought of it that way but I do love all that is has to offer. The seasons, the beach, the mountains...we've got it all. I have been lucky to spend my life here making the best of all there is.
I am the kind of girl that can get dressed up in heels and dance till the sun comes up or I can put on my jeans and t-shirt and build a campfire and spend a night beneath the stars. I am always up for trying new things, especially something that gets my adrenaline pumping. I try to balance my nights out with quiet nights at home for relaxing, reading, or catching up on shows on the DVR.
Since graduating from Virginia Tech, I have been blessed to have an amazing career that I love, bought my first place, a whole lot of fun with friends and family, and be surrounded by amazing people.
As a present to myself for my 30th birthday I signed up, trained, and ran my first half marathon. I understand now why people say it's addictive, I've already signed up for my next race!
