Well to tell you a little bit about me. My name is Carolyn and I am 27 years old. I have a dog. Her name is Diamond and she is a boxer mix. She is 100% my best friend. I would like to own more dogs but just my one is enough for now. I am 100% an animal lover! I have 4 tattoos and I have body piercings. Tattoos and piercings I feel allow me to express myself the way I choose. I am friendly, kind, 100% honest all the time, care for others before myself, and getting more confident every day! I will continue to strive for better everyday! No need to dwell in the past, present and future is where it's at.
For fun I enjoy playing softball; fast and slow pitch. I like to dance even though I am bad at it. I enjoy martial arts; I train 2 days a week. Kickboxing is a good workout and stress reliever for me. I participate in 5K's when I can or any other kind of event of the sort. In 2011, I ran a tough mudder and I am looking to do another again really soon. I enjoy listening to all kind of music. Country is my favorite genre. I'll watch any kind of movie; I prefer comedy. I love to bake! My cooking is coming along but baking I just love!
I am a research technician for ExxonMobil (that is my career). I have a part time job at a retail store, I give private softball lessons, and I am an assistant coach at Saint Peter's University in Jersey City. I have every intention of going back to school for my Masters. I'm just not sure what I would like to study at the moment.
What I am looking for in a person is someone who can treat me the way I'm suppose to be treated (this is number one). Someone who is positive, passionate about their future, someone who is honest (this is very important!, I hate little fibs to avoid a fight. If your doing something and then have to lie about to avoid confrontation then you shouldn't be doing it), and caring.
I am new to Match and recently just got out of a long term relationship and I'm looking to start with friendship and take it from there. I don't want to jump into anything right away and just take things slow.
