Summertime is the best time of year because I'm on vacation! The other 180 days a year I teach elementary school and absolutely love it. My daughter is the sunshine in my day. I spend most of my summer at the beach in the sand and sun. While summer is fun, I'm a hopeless romantic and love fall- it's the sweaters and leaves, fireplaces and red wine. My most favorite time of year for my favorite holiday- Thanksgiving. I play golf, enjoy baseball games, wine tastings, traveling, and outdoor concerts. My family is big and they are very important in my life. I'm originally from Chesapeake and have lived in Nags Head and still spend a great deal of time in both places. I like spontaneity and I'll try anything...once.
I hope to find someone who has a good solid moral compass, valuing family, does what he says he's going to do, is respectful, chivalrous, confident, and goal-oriented.
I work hard and am an educated individual and value that in my mate. I own my own home and am not looking for someone to take care of my daughter and me, but share in the many wonderful things life has to offer.
I've yet to meet that special someone through work, my friends, the grocery store, Starbucks, or church, so I thought I'd give this a shot.
People ask me where I think I'll be in 5 years or 10 years, and I don't have an answer. I didn't think I'd be here at 35, I certainly had a different vision, but here I am! So, I don't know where life is going to take me but I'm hopeful I'll find someone who wants to do it together, no matter what it is :)
