I'm an outgoing person who loves learning, food, sports, and laughing. After graduating college and working in policy in DC for a few years, I went a completely different route and tried cooking professionally. It took me down a wonderful path of traveling, exploring, passionate people, and a lot of amazing food and wine. Then I decided it was time to get back on the graduate degree track. But, I wanted to make sure I was doing it in a place where I could still eat well, enjoy nature, enjoy life, and participate in food and wine as much as possible! So I moved to Portland! I've loved it so far, as expected, and am working on starting my career here after I finish school.
I can be pretty independent, driven, and sarcastic. I love good, interesting conversation and also just relaxing and hanging out, hiking, cooking at home for friends, and going out to eat. I played lacrosse in college and sports are a big part of my life as are my friends and family.
