Hello, I am Linda. I've lived in Northeast Philly my entire life.
Going to the same bars every other weekend can get old really fast. Most weekends you can find me hanging out at home watching a movie. I am more of a homebody more than anything, but I do enjoy going out every once in a while.
I like surrounding myself with happy, positive people. I have no time for miserable people who have to bring everyone around them down because they're unhappy. If you're unhappy, do something about it!
I am a graphic designer in the funeral business. Not as morbid as it sounds. If anything, it has taught me that life can be too short and we must not take anything for granted. Like my previous statement, I like being around happy people. My coworkers are some of the funniest, silliest, greatest people I've ever known. They are a big reason why I love my job so much. It's important to not only love what you do, but who you do it with. If you don't like your coworkers it can be really difficult to enjoy your job. Another reason I love my job is making people happy. If I can help a someone smile a little one of the saddest days of their lives, then I know I'm doing something right. Getting positive feedback from clients is a huge confidence booster for me.
I'm easily amused and love cheesy jokes.
I love traveling and visiting new places. I was in Rome and Florence in 2011 and recently visited Barbados. I also visit Arizona every few years. I have family there but I love all scenery and culture. Like most Philly people, I love going down the shore. I've been going to Wildwood for as long as I can remember. My grandparents lived near there and my family and I would stay with them for a few weeks in the summer.
I like working out a being active. My favorite work out is Zumba. For those of you who don't know what it is, it's latin dance aerobics. I love dancing and it definitely has helped me improve my sweet moves :)
