Thanks for taking s minute to read about me I am originally from Pennsylvania- the good side near Pittsburgh. Youngest of 3 girls- and no- never married, no kids. There you know the dark truth!!I love sports...obviously the steelers, the penguins, and even the poor pirates. iI also grew up watching wrestling- greco roman and freestyle (not wwe) and that has translated into really enjoying ufc. I also love to travel and try to get out of town at least every 6 weeks or so. DC has a lot to offer, and the culture is almost second to none, but if I couldnt leave town I would go crazy. I am a pretty casual girl who likes to go camping snd get dirty, but I also love dressing up for a night out. I am more of a bar with a band kind of person rather than a crazy-packed, see-and-be seen club. Essentially pretentious people don't impress me.
Sometimes I just need to go somewhere where I can see the stars without any of that lovely 'ambient light'. I love taking a country raod and just driving for the heck of it...a fire on the beach is just about heaven for me. I love to white water raft and am looking forward to trying it out in Costa Rica soon. I just got back from Belize and I am already trying to plan my next to trip to coincide with the whale sharks arrival. Lt To rme, its important to get out and live life, no matter what your circumstances. If you wait around for other people to make things happen, you end up missing out. I love to try new things and love to push myself but.... Since most of my friends are married, have kids, or simply cant leave their significant other I tend to travel alone. Travelling alone is fun, but every once in awhile it would be nice not to have to pay that 'single supplement'.
The kind of guy I would be most attracted to would be under 40 with a spontaneous side, attractive, and a killer sense of humor. If you cant make me laugh - and laugh at my jokes (and sometimes at me) we wouldnt get along. :) If you have been described as a romantic guy that is a good thing. The standoffish jerk who forgets my birthday got old a few years ago. In terms of looks I would prefer a guy who is at least 5'10 since I am 5'8 myself and like to wear heels. Its hard to define what I find attractive, but part of that puzzle is confidence (not cockiness or arrogance) as well as a big heart. I like the military look, southern accents and a sarcastic sense of humor. A guy who enjoys his goofy side, but can also discuss the latest news/ politics is a plus. A great day to me? lets hop in the car (or your harley would be better) and head out of town. Explore somewhere new and live! That said, i am pretty conservative in my politics and while i do respect other views, if you think a fun date is tying yourself to a tree or marching on wall street odds are we wont be bffs. I know that might be offensive to some, but oh well. I guess when it comes down to it I would like to meet someone I could call my best friend. ISomeone who gets me, supports me, helps me to improve, and is loyal to the end. I love my friends and family and I am pretty happy with myself too. I am not looking to be rescued, but I do like to be appreciated and treated with respect. Dating someone who knows everything about me and still likes me? :) Oh and if your kiss makes my toes curl that would make me smile. i like to smile :)
I have a strong faith in God and would like a guy who feels the same.
