I am new to the Mississippi Delta, and have transplanted myself here permanently, with Teach for America, to teach secondary English....If that doesn't give you an idea of my makeup...I don't what will :)
I am very straightforward, not in a negative way, I just believe in putting things out on the table .Life is too short to play games. I believe in expressing your thoughts clearly, but always being open to what others are thinking or hold to be true. Having said this...here are some things you need to know....I'm in my 40's...I've been married and divorced...but I'm not against relationships or have an ax to grind. I know everyone is hoping to find someone without baggage, but I have to be honest....if you are traveling through life...well...you have baggage...it should be where you carry your experiences, dreams, wisdom, humor and the people you wish to bring along with you. I'm pretty...not Megan Fox pretty...I hate to break it to you though...she's had a lot of plastic surgery and she is an emotional basket case (I used to work in the industry)...I'm a pretty person...I don't have to wear a ton of makeup...but I wear it...It makes the most of my physical attributes associated with my face....I look like my pics...I actually haven't changed much since high school...good genetics and fairly decent taking care of self...Please don't ask for booty pics...I don't do those...you could do a cut an paste of Megan Fox on my body and start a website...If I'm not getting paid for the website...then I'm not helping you get rich with your friends ;) Oh and very young guys...I'm not the cougar you are looking for...I'm a cougar...but not a Sensei of sexual technique....sorry fellas...I have a different career...;)....If you are younger and interested in getting to know me...well...that's a different story...I'm not skinny...I'm a woman...got curves...hips...boobs...If skinny is your thing...then I'm not your gal...sorry...
Some other things you should know...I really live where I say I do...please don't contact me about wanting to meet and then grieve me about living too far away...I live here...I work here...I just do...It means that if you live far away....I'd have to plan trips...I just would...it's just travel...It ain't nothin' but a thing...but it's reality...so unless you have a teleportation device...well...travel will be involved...just keepin' it real
I don't do hook ups...I mean really...I can get that anywhere...these days it's like shooting fish in a barrel...This doesn't mean I'm a prude...not by a long shot...but...please....let me be a lady...let me show myself as a dignified, worthwhile woman...let the other be a well-earned surprise, instead of a drive through, late night Taco Bell run...
Yes...I do have two cats...No...I'm not crazy cat lady...I'm actually tired of that joke and the verbal assumptions that go along with it...Animals are wonderful companions...and they teach acceptance...not just tolerance...and unconditional love...We could all use a bit more of that in our lives...but they don't replace people, in my life. I used to have all that "emotionally available" stuff on here and I still got emails for hook ups....so, I figure...if you are still reading this...then all the other stuff I used to have posted will apply...Lastly...don't let the "girl next door" look fool you...I'm smart...self-sufficient and quite clever...but I'm not a push over....I'm not looking for a mentor or someone to take care of me or take care of...I'm a teammate kind of gal...a partner kind of woman...and there's a lot of really interesting...fun stuff attached to that...
