I'm not looking for the perfect man- I'm pretty sure he's not out there and I'm certainly not perfect myself. But I'd love to find my best friend- he's (in no particular order) confident, passionate about his beliefs, loves God, open to new people, cultures and experiences, secure in himself, a gentleman, loves life, serious about finding the right girl, a man of integrity. He focuses on the positive- life is too short to focus elsewhere.
As for me… I'm strong in my faith, love my family, honest about my feelings, socially and politically conservative, but I keep an open mind to new ideas and concepts, financially secure and serious about finding the right guy for me. I'm almost 43, never married (close once), no children (love them, it just never happened for me). I grew up and have lived most of my life in Columbus, with an expat assignment to the UK a few years ago, along with time away at university, and some volunteering in Argentina. I’m blessed to have a job I love, but it is very demanding of my mind and my time, so I try to make the most of my time away from work.
I love to travel- I've been to most countries in Latin America, I've seen a good bit of Europe, and now am looking forward to Asia/Pacific. China and India are at the top of my list. I became involved in missions in my youth group many years ago, which led me to a major in Spanish. I try to translate for a medical mission at least once each year, thus the Latin America travel. Volunteering my time puts everything into perspective- it really makes a difference in my overall outlook.
