If you are searching for a happy, thoughtful, honest, optimistic, hard working yet sometimes silly person - to share ideas with, to laugh and embrace life together with - what a coincidence, so am I. We should find out what else we have in common. In all seriousness, I believe that life is an incredible adventure, giving us so much opportunity to do good and to learn about oneself. Like so many others, I am looking for a person who is caring, still inspired, learning, and appreciating life. I am dedicated to doing my best to that end, ideally you are too. I do not subscribe to stereotypes, but I am guilty of being academically, professionally, and financially high achieving. So don't hold it against me :-) I feel very fortunate to have a career that I love, with all its demands and challenges. I really enjoy spending time with my friends and family. Being the friendly type, I like to interact with people wherever I am. So mostly, I am interested in making a solid friend, and seeing what else might happen. Most of my interests lie in the arts. I enjoy music; I was a DJ in college and I used to write/sing my own songs. I like acting, (classes, not working-actor stuff though I wish!). If I had more time, I would take up printmaking again. I would also resume my lessons in dressage (horses are amazing). I do yoga/aerobic activities. In the winter, I really enjoy skiing, but I wish the snow was drier on Mount Hood (spoiled by having lived in Colorado). When the weather is nice, I hike and bike around. I love to travel, abroad and in the continental states. I used to do quite a bit of creative writing, and I certainly have a weakness for books. In short, I am equally happy going out to meet friends for dinner and drinks, doing something outdoorsy, visiting a gallery/museum, dancing at a concert, or staying at home to relax, watch a movie or read a book. I like it all. I hope to hear from you!
