Not too easy trying to sum yourself up in a couple of paragraphs but I’ll try. I am a fun-loving, honest, hard working single mom who enjoys life. I grew up with wonderful, loving parents who taught me and my brothers the importance of being there for family and friends, to work hard but play harder, be kind and forgiving and always be true to yourself.
I relate strongly to my Irish heritage having grown up with Irish music, Irish dancing and Irish Shenanigans’. But, I’m also grateful to have grown up in Cleveland with its culturally and ethnically diverse neighborhoods. I have more than once enjoyed a slice from Mama Santas in Little Italy, a shot of ouzo at the Greek Heritage Festival, dim sum from Bo Loong’s in China town and it was on the sidewalk in front of my old Ohio City apartment where I first learned to Merengue. I have been fortunate to have been able to travel all over and plan to continue traveling but I love coming home to Cleveland.
I believe in having a positive attitude and not hanging on to anger and resentment. I believe in what you see embroidered on those pillows “love like you’ve never been hurt”, “life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…it’s about learning to dance in the rain”, "
If love is the treasure, laughter is the key" and one of my favorites “pour yourself a drink; put on some lipstick; and pull yourself together”.
