If you have a good record collection, recognize fine barbeque, and can pitch a tent in the rain, get in touch. I will make you some of the best pizza in Baltimore, share my Sunday New York Times, and introduce you to a truly spectacular dog.
I was raised in the midwest and lived in the northwest, New Zealand, Hawai‘i, and Minnesota before moving to Baltimore last year for my job. By day, I teach and think about all the writing of my own that I should be doing. In my off hours, I'm usually cooking or baking (bread from a homemade starter is my current project) or reading and hanging with my dog. I recently began yoga teacher training. I played soccer in high school (and a bit in the last year in a rec league) and rowed in college. I can surf safely, but it isn't necessarily pretty. When I lived in Minnesota I did a lot more hiking and cross-country skiing. Surprise me, Maryland. I need some snow.
I'm looking for someone very smart, warmhearted, and at least a bit outdoorsy. I am interested in the whole world -- books, art, politics, current events, travel, what makes us all tick -- and you should be, too. While I'm game to explore more of the city and the surrounding area with a handful of good people, ultimately I hope to stumble upon someone whose company is so terrific that sitting around on a weekend morning over bowls of cereal feels like we won the lottery.
