I've sat here for a while trying to think of what to say here, I'm not one to brag or really talk about myself a lot I suppose, so here's the best I got.
Born and raised Jersey girl, living in the south but still northern at heart. After doing school in Florida for almost 8 years I came to the Gulf Coast 5 years ago. I haven't had a relationship since being here, and I kinda feel like it's about time I do.
My friends tell me I'm a pretty cool person, and since I like to surround myself with awesomeness I'm gonna go with they are correct. I'm pretty smart and smartassed, and I think I'm pretty funny cause I can not only laugh at my own jokes (when others laugh it helps) but also can laugh at myself in general. I'm very mama bear in that I'm fiercely protective of my friends, because they are my family away from blood family, and most would say that it's a kind and generous trait... I think.
I list myself as "a few extra pounds" but that's due to change. I've been making a few lifestyle changes for myself physically, it's a slow process but it's one that is starting to work. That's not to say I don't enjoy a cold one now and again. :)
I currently work as a civilian physical scientist for the Navy, and do some acting work on the side now and again. Series finale of Treme on HBO has me all over it!
I'm looking for someone to be happy with, similar goals, and someone who will treat me well... not too much to ask right? :)
