The dating scene can be a bit tough and I suppose is all about trial and error. I've had some good experiences with online dating, and some interesting experiences to say the least. Just a side note-if you have children or a child even pending DNA/Maury results---please be honest and say something in the beginning. Don't get me wrong, I like surprises, but within reason.
A lil bit about me-i'm a very laid back, down to earth and low maintenance girl. I'm very adaptable to various situations, I can get my hands dirty or my nails done depending on the occasion. I have no problem throwing on a hoodie and sweats or wearing a dress and heels. I tend to get along with everyone so I definitely don't have any drama in my life. I just like to go with the flow of things.
I'm very active-love outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, batting cages, water sports, and throwing the ball around.
I work in the "hood" or "ghetto" as a child and adolescent therapist; it's a bit dangerous, but it's primarily those areas that need it the most and thankfully I have amazing clients-so they make it worth it. I also work in a private practice a couple nites a week.
I'm not a stage5 clinger and I do believe guys should have their boys' nites every once in awhile and girls should as well. Time apart can be healthy. I wouldn't necessarily say I have a "type" I'm looking for; I like to view everyone in an individualistic manner. However, if cheating and lying is your "MO," kick rocks and keep it moving.
It'd be nice to find someone with similar interests. My educational background is in mental health counseling so i'm an easy person to talk to about anything. I'm a natural blonde, not a dumb one :) I have no problems talking about subjects society considers taboo, keeping it real is important to me. I'm very open-minded and pretty much game for anything. Life's too short not to take chances.
