It's a little difficult to describe yourself to someone else, so let's go with what others would say. My friends would choose words like "responsible," "loyal," and "introverted." Coworkers would, and have, used words like "quirky" and "crazy." They may have also used the phrase "obsessive compulsive," but that's more of a pharmacist thing. At least we can laugh about it :) Free time usually involves reading or writing stories, visiting St. Louis for a fix of family and culture, traveling by airplane, messing around in the kitchen, meeting up with friends, and yes, knitting. I love to try new things and meet new people--I fell in love with Bath in the month that I lived there and can't wait to see more of Europe. Being far from home for so long means I've had to be pretty independent (which really means quality time with eHow, Answers, and other places where they teach you how to change windshield wipers or open up a sink trap). Home is the north shore of Long Island, where the beaches are rocky and "The City" automatically means NYC. I came to Evansville for a clinical pharmacist position, and I'm planning to leave for more urban stomping grounds once I qualify for boards at the end of 2014. I'm looking for a partner in crime with whom to learn a city and explore all that it has to offer. My ideal match would be someone who is compassionate, ambitious, educated, and humble, someone who can laugh over something silly in the afternoon and hold an intelligent conversation (possibly over whiskey) at night. A healthy lifestyle and a genuine respect for those around him are a must. Bonus points if you like old school superhero cartoons and Monty Python.
