I'm a girl you want to know, so keep reading...
I run for fun and my sanity, usually outdoors, on a trail. Truthfully, I'll run anywhere my legs take me. I have participated in many races, with my next challenges being a triathlon, 50K trail race, and a few marathons. The longer the run, the happier I am. I love taking my dogs on my runs. Aren't dogs are great? I have three lovely rescue pups that are truly the best. They usually outrun me (though I haven't been brave enough to take them out on my long runs!). I think cats are secretly plotting to kill you. If I'm not on the trail or with my dogs, I'm trying a new recipe in the kitchen or planning my next dinner party. I geek out when I get a new cookbook. What's better than than? I love to entertain and eat tasty food, usually accompanied by a nice glass of wine. Weather permitting, my backyard makes a great setup for a quiet evening at home, with some wine, and good company. I make excellent company! I love my family dearly, and we travel together often. Last trip? Alaska. I try to get a few small trips in a year; I want to get to each major city in the US. However, I'm perfectly content riding down a lazy river in a kayak or sitting on a pristine beach with nothing to do but sit in the sun. I have diverse music tastes, but I think music sounds best live. If it's outdoors, even better. So while I do like to spend lots of time outdoors or in the kitchen, I am also part nerd and love reading. I'd rather read the book than see the movie, but sometimes doing both is the most fun.
