Here is my philosophy: a daily REAL sincere hug, a nice smile, putting a sparkle in somebody else's eyes and making them smile (a stranger, especially while they are at work, it shows appreciation), and laughing of course! Those are the best medicines in life.

I am silly and hungry for learning. If I am not trying something new and challenging myself I get bored really easy so I move on to the next learning challenge. It's the curse of my brain! I love the outdoors. The silence of the snow, and huge snow flakes. Hiking in the rain, thunder, up mountains, campfires. Sunsets. Miss them up here in Los Alamos. I love to ski, mountainbike, hike, snowshoe, 4-wheeling. Miss playing tennis and dirt bike riding. I know my away around the garage, tools, home construction and remodeling. Not only the design aspect but the building aspect. I 'm a jack of all trades. Don't worry I'm girly too! I LOVE MY KIDS and my doggies.
I tell my kids you can do anything you want to do. Don't give up. I have an Engineering Degree and finishing up a Media Arts Degree. 1st time EVER taking art classes. (except HS art)
I am too honest. Tell it like it is. I don't always like waiting around. You need to be the initiator and beat me to the punch (good luck). That is very impressive to me. I love to give creative sincere gifts hand made catered to the person.
I need someone to keep up with me and challenge me emotionally allowing each other to grow, intellectually, and physically. Somebody who wants to get out and have fun. Nature is LIFE...Loves creativity and a do-it-your-selfer, has be confidant, secure in life, grounded, honest, not afraid to get dirty (get your mind out of the gutter) climb a tree or just an old fashioned snowball fight. Watch the stars...Fixing things and building things myself /ourselves is VERY important. I don't like relying on hiring people. You also have to make me laugh. If you lack sense of humor, sorry have to be too honest here. Please move on.
You also have to know exactly what you want. Never string me along with a relationship as I will not do either. I will not ask a question if I am not willing to answer myself. Maturity, not wandering around life aimlessly. Security in your future and your present mind. Willing to give emotionally and listen and protect but not enable or develop a co-dependency relationship. Also having your own interests that I possibly don't like and you do on your own. I can hang with my friends and you can hang with your friends without guilt. Another important thing to me is you are open to your feelings and do not compartmentalize them and feel comfortable enough to talk to me about them and be vulnerable and TRUST in a relationship. I am not looking for a one night stand. Never had one, never will. I am not looking for someone who wants to have a thrill in dating and moving on and dating again. I am looking for someone is wanting to have a secure relationship that would like it to grow.
Last MAJOR important thing..you HAVE to be understanding, accepting, and good with kids. A sincere love for children and patience.
I have learned a lot from my past and know what I want and need and DESERVE. I am CONFIDANT in that. I am not about trying to convince somebody to like me. If I start to do that, I stop and say hey, not meant to be. I respect that in a man also. A clean honest cut if they are not certain there is a connection.
