I am 49 years old, not 39-boring story goes along with that...but on to the fun stuff-
Looking for a friend first. I want to develop a relationship with a kind, compassionate man who appreciates the altruism in me. Someone who would rather venture outdoors than watch TV...whether it's a spontaneous road trip or hiking Pinckney...a passion for life and the outdoors is key.
Respecting mother nature and a tolerance of all races and belief systems are a must. Religious zealots and I wouldn't click. My religion is kindness and I practice it daily.
I love mountain biking, running (jogging really), hiking, SCUBA diving, shooting hoops and guns (not simultaneously),
sprint triathlons and skydiving. I'm always up to trying new things as long as they're kind of legal and sort of safe.
Planning a vacation is what gets me through Michigan winters. I'm a transplanted Southerner, so heading to Florida for a spell soothes my soul. Then again, so have Telluride, Taos, Big Sky, Jackson Hole, Steamboat Springs and Purgatory. I like that word-purgatory.
I look forward to visiting Australia, Italy, Greece, Dominica, Scotland, Ireland and Roswell, NM. I've been blessed to have traveled to Venezuela (skydive Margarita Island), the Bahamas (Abaco tri) and Jamaica (what was I doing there?). I'm looking forward to more stamps in my passport. Some of my favorite destinations are Captiva Island, Cape Cod, Estes Park , Vancouver B.C., and the mountains and OBX of N.C..
I am attracted to men who care. Trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle with bouts of decadence is tough, but I'm trying too! Physical attraction is paramount. Phermones, smooth skin, soft lips and a strong presence are good. The right balance of testosterone and tenderness.
Over the years I've realized how important it is to have similar values in regards to money and saving for future fun (don't like the word retirement). I think I'm doing a pretty good job of living a simple, yet elegant life-below my means.
It would be nice if his friends described him as optimistic, intelligent, salt of the earth, enlightened, kind and generous. I have a passion for learning and like the same . I enjoy reading and look forward to building my own library stocked 10 feet high- not sure of the diameter yet. I want to learn Spanish and Italian, to Salsa/ballroom dance and take cooking classes with my man. I look forward to designing and building a fully stocked homestead, with motorcycles, ATVs, waverunners and sleds for family and friends to enjoy. Ocean and mountains.
I crave the thrill of a ski run, or mountain bike ride...hooting and howling all the way down only to top it off with high fives and an ice cold beverage. I am a certifiable adrenaline addict with no desire for rehab- only speed. I can't wait to jump from 14.5, hit 180 on tarmac and throw myself off a cliff at Torrey Pines to bashfully bask in the sun on Black's Beach below.
I act like a kid most of my free time and I don't like the word NO.
I LOVE witty, sarcastic humor.
A light-hearted, yet driven man would make me happy.
A willingness to communicate despite the perceived outcome, and honesty are essential to a long term love affair in my book.
