I love the Southern in me. Note: I said Southern, not "country"!!! If you're from a different part of the U.S. you may believe that Southern women sit around wearing big hats and sipping sweet tea while catching the vapors and exclaiming, "Well I declare!" Or you may believe that when we aren't milking cows, we walk around Walmart barefoot with toothpicks hanging out of our mouths. I may be born and raised in Alabama, but this 'Bama belle exudes sophistication and class! I live in the heart of downtown Birmingham with a coveted view of the city lights, just blocks away from some of the finest cuisine, night life and culture the city has to offer. I'm looking for an ambitious man who enjoys this type of setting and who isn't afraid to try new things, visit new places and explore the farthests corners of the globe, or even the hidden gems of his own hometown. Chivalry isn't dead, and the Southern girl in me wants a gentleman who customarily pulls out chairs, opens doors and knows the value of a compliment. Even though I enjoy the city lifestyle, I'm still a sweet, caring, small-town girl at heart. Plus, I've got serious skills in the kitchen! So maybe you can come by for a Sunday dinner like your Grandma used to make, all while enjoying the view of the city's skyline. Your choice of beverage: sweet tea or champagne!
