In March I'm hoping to start training for my 5th Cowalunga which is a 190 mile, 3 day ride for the Respiratory Health Association.
The ride's not until August but Wisconsin has hills, so I need to start early. By mid spring I'll be riding up to the Botanic Gardens and back but there's no hills on the way up there. I also have to get my bike fixed. It won't go into first gear which I learned on the last ride, is a REALLY important gear when there are hills. You should come! It's really fun!
I own a Golden Retriever trapped in the body of a Chihuahua.
I'm a very laid back, low maintenance kind of girl. Given a choice between a trendy club or a dive bar, I'll take the dive bar every time. I like to go places with character; they usually have better music. I avoid shopping and malls as much as possible. Bookstores are the exception to this rule. I have a silly/sarcastic sense of humor.
I love kids but I don't have any of my own. I've got two nephews and I niece that I adore.
I'm also a REALLY bad speller and I never make my date dance at formal occasions.
I podcast Wait Wait, This American Life, The Moth and Marc Maron's WTF podcasts. I get my news from The Daily Show I watch Sons of Anarchy, Boardwalk Empire, Homeland and for some reason the show Hoarders fascinates me.
