Hi! I am a 39 year old woman who has never been married and has no children. Most people think I am kind, smart, funny, and level-headed. But, don't think that I take myself too seriously because I don't. Once you get to know me, you'll see my silly side. I'm from a large family, so holidays and birthdays are always fun and loud! My friends tend to be life-long...I have one friend whom I've known since the first day of kindergarten! I love to read, write, cook, bake, walk, swim, hike, dance, travel, and be with my family and friends. I sing in the car and watch college sports. I also have a dog and two outdoor cats.
One of my best qualities is that I never meet a stranger, and I get along with just about everybody I meet, so I make friends easily. I'm very sociable and comfortable in almost any situation. I may come off as shy, but I'm not. I'm really observing the people I'm with to see how I can connect. This trait has helped me in the classroom. I teach advanced English courses at a local high school and enjoy what I do. I feel that I was called to be a teacher, and I really like teaching my students.
I am seeking a true friend and fun-loving companion for the journey of life -- a man of character who compliments me, and I him. He must be a man whom I can trust, respect, and admire. He must be confident, a good listener, caring, kind, smart, and honest. He must be a hard worker and generous. He must have an awesome sense of humor.
