I still haven't found what I am looking for, so I will continue on my quest. A lot of time and research goes into landing that job, finding that home, purchasing that car, so why should searching for a "match" be taken any less seriously? So, here I am. I love everything about the beach and the ocean during the summer. I love to swim in it, sail in it, or just sit by it. I've yet to surf successfully in it, but I'm working on that one. I also enjoy the mountains and enjoy the winter sports - skiing, skating,etc. I do look forward to the beginning of every season, as I've learned that change can be a positive thing. I enjoy NYC and everything that the city has to offer. It has a certain energy like no other place. I worked there and lived there for years. I also spent a year working in Boston and now I find myself somewhere in between these 2 great cities. I'm considered a pretty down to earth type of gal, but I also have a tendency to enjoy the finer things in life. I am a hard worker, but a healthy balance of work and play is the essential key to a life worth living. Work has taken control and now I am striving now more than ever to find and maintain that balance.
My ideal match will posess a similar outlook on life as I do. I respect a person who is career driven, goal oriented and motivated in all aspects of life, but someone who can also take a step back, smell the roses and enjoy the ride. I am looking for a somewhat mature companion, yet someone who can also unleash the playful boy inside once in awhile. Someone who can adapt to any given situation or any surrounding.
