I am looking for a true friend---that solid connection that is difficult to find. I want someone to play with, love with, and most importantly laugh with. I think I am thoughtful, nurturing and sincere. My friends would probably say I'm funny, very sarcastic and kind-hearted. I'm a good listener and place a lot of importance on that quality in a partner. You have to be able to put your partner first when need be. Let's be honest, sometimes it's 50/50 and sometimes 70/30, but sometimes you just have to go out on a limb and give it your all. It has to be a mutually respectful partnership. If you are sweet, affectionate, easy going, and are able to open yourself up (yes, that means talking about the good, the bad, and the ugly!) to the possibility of a great beginning, I'd like to hear from you. But you have to be ok with saying "yes, dear" every so often:) and it goes both ways, I understand.
A little bit about me....I am a registered dietitian, so naturally food, nutrition, and wellness are a huge part of my life. But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy a good cheeseburger! I love all types of cuisines, and enjoy discovering new restaurants. I love music--couldn't live without it. . And while my voice can scare small children, I'm up for karaoke if the moment is right. I love to travel....I have a weakness for a beautiful beach, but equally enjoy travel all over the world. I am not hoping for children of my own and need someone who is as honest in their intentions. But don't get me wrong, my nieces and nephew are the little loves of my life and I have no problem with a partner who has children. Family is very important to me as are my friends. I love to be surrounded by those I love, but also cherish my alone time. (I have a thing for bad lifetime movies that few understand). That said, I am hoping for someone who has the time to dedicate in building a solid relationship. I am not interested in dating on a casual basis long-term I love being silly, but am also serious about the things dear to my heart. As a mild mannered person, hot-tempered, egotistical or controlling personalities do not interest me.

oh, ps...must love dogs. And you'll just have to deal with the Sox hat, sorry. But I am a NY Rangers fan!
