I have spent the last three years reflecting on the previous twenty. I believe we are all a work in progress and continually evolving, Taking time [alone] allowed me to process things and figure out who I am and what I want, without any outside influences or distractions. I’m ready to begin anew. Sooooo, here I am……venturing into the world of online dating, optimistic and open to the possibilities!!!

I've discovered through experience and age, that I want to surround myself with like-minded people. I believe we should all help each other. I'll almost always root for the underdog. I'm sensitive to those who are less fortunate. I think most everybody has something to offer, and I try to see the good in all. I am a simple person. I don't keep up with the Joneses, not because I can't, because I don't want to. I have a good life and I believe it's only going to get better. I have a lot to give and do so every day with the work that I do. I'm fun, I'm kind, I'm outgoing, I'm generous with my time and money, I'm a good listener, I'm understanding, and I'm a great friend and mom. I smile and say hello to strangers ;). I run to keep fit and clear my head. Hiking among the redwoods is humbling. I'm not afraid to be alone. Life is good, but sometimes hard. I wake up every day with great hope. I don't have a perfect body, but it has served me well. It has endured cancer and a marathon, both of which I am grateful and proud. My kid’s friends love me and my chocolate chip cookies. I'm well-liked and respected by people of all ages, perhaps because I treat them as equals. I'm financially secure, live within my means, and have a good head on my shoulders. I'm incredibly close with my family even though we live far apart. I have a circle of friends that are as important to me as my family. I’m happy.

You’re kind and generous. You appreciate the little things. You’re active, but know how to just ‘be’. You’re not looking for perfection in the traditional sense. You see the good in others and don’t pass judgment. You’re supportive and encouraging. You’re intuitive. You have a good heart. You know how to leave your ego at the door. You’re healthy. You care about the world we live. You want to leave a positive impact wherever you go. You like to go off the beaten path when you travel and explore. You know how to communicate. You have your own life and are respectful of mine. You make me smile. You’re happy.

We have fun. We laugh a lot.....a lot! We have great conversation. We adore one another. We know how to be serious and silly. We smile at the very thought of the other. We hold hands. We kiss passionately. We're supportive. We truly enjoy being with each other and never feel like it’s a chore. It’s easy to be together. We compliment each other. We’re great friends. We’re happy.
I'm ready to welcome someone into my life. I don't need anyone, but rather, I want someone…….perhaps it’s you? :)
