I grew up in Wisconsin, so I am a true "cheesehead" at heart. :) I moved to Rochester for a nursing job a couple of years ago, and I love what I do. I prefer the small-town bar feel to downtown though, so it's been hard to meet people here. My friends and family mean everything to me, and I am hoping to find someone who feels the same way about his family. I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason, so I thought I'd give this a try to see what happens. I think that independence is a great thing in a relationship, but it's also wonderful to have someone who's always there and that you can depend on no matter what.
I love to travel and try new things. I love living in the Midwest because there are things I enjoy in every season: snow, Christmas lights, and skiing in the winter; flower blossoms and biking in the spring; going to the beach, camping, and sunsets in the summer; and the beautiful fall leaves, hiking, pumpkin patches, and apple orchards in the fall. I love photography, although I'm not very good at it yet...
Other random facts: I'm definitely more of a night owl than a morning person. I love to sing no matter where I am. I like to plan things ahead of time, but love being spontaneous. People usually comment on my smile and my laugh, and I think a smile is the most attractive quality in a guy. I have a bucket list that continues to grow: skydiving, hot air balloon ride, safari, go on a cruise and lots of other travels! Anything else you would like to know, just ask.
