Three simple concepts define my days--or at least every day I wake up and strive to make them the goals of my day--kindness, intelligence, and original thinking. Joy, laughter, truth, family, and integrity are very important to me. Oh wow, that sounds really intense. And, probably it is accurate to say that I can be intense, but intensity balanced with a playful, goofy, nerdy side. I thrive on laughter and am rarely without an authentic smile on my face. My typical reads are classical literature, history, sci fi, or personal development. I enjoy gaming, especially the sort that feeds into delusions of grandeur (Age of Empires II, DC Universe Online, etc.).
I'm not really the pretty, pretty princess type. In fact, a valiant knight or nerdy academic is far more appealing to me than Prince Charming. Starfleet types work, too. Blue or gold shirts only, though, please, I could hardly stand the stress of having to guard a red shirt from harm every time we venture off the ship. ;) Dr. Who misplaced my phaser so if the aliens plan on adding "BBQ Red Shirted Away Party Member" to the menu I can only be of minimal help. But, I am loyal, so I will help put up a fight.
Attraction to me is all about playfulness, making eyes, smiles, conversation, friendship, cuddling feeling like the best place on the planet, mutual appreciation, adventures made sweeter because they were shared with a special someone, and sweet kisses. The most romantic gestures: all about the gift of time and affection, time to get to know each other, stargazing, exploring, writing to each other, and some teasing trash talk while gaming. I am looking for a partner and BFF -- a love that is sweet and friendly (think Jim and Pam on "The Office") and keeps a smile on one's face even when its just time to cook a meal together or weed the garden or paint the house.
I moved from the Modesto area to Reno a couple of years ago to lean into a more healthy and active lifestyle full of hiking, fresh air, mountains, trees, and dirt. What are your thoughts on "Hungry For Change" and Trader Joe's?
I LOVE a good conversation, even with people I have little in common with, so let's skip right over the "Sup?" e-mails and jump into some fun exchanges to see if we would find visiting a coffeehouse or wine bar together appealing:
What's on your playlist these days?
What TV show are you embarrassed to admit you watch?
What is your favorite thing about your pets?
Do you ever get creeped out in the dark?
What is your favorite ring on your phone?
What is your current desktop picture?
Your desired superpower and why?
What is one of your favorite quotes?
When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?
What story does your family always tell about you?
I look forward to learning more about you and hopefully becoming fast friends or something more. :)
