Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. A bit about me: I am a writer and editor originally from Louisiana. I'm definitely a "creative type," but only in DC do people call me a hippie. Since leaving the South, I've lived in Dublin, Los Angeles, New York, and most recently, DC! For work (since this will be your first question), I edit a literary journal, edit book reviews, write for a think tank, cover events for an arts and culture publication, and work for a start-up e-commerce company. I often think about jetting off to a new adventure, maybe moving back to California or Brooklyn, but am trying to be a responsible adult and stick to one place for longer than two years. I'm also trying to be less self-deprecating. :)

I am looking for someone intelligent and kind with a great sense of humor. Playful and goofy is good. Liberals preferred. I love someone who can tell a great story and entertain me, and surprise me with a random adventure. An appreciation for the arts is a must!
