So... as most people say, it's hard to write about yourself. And how do you highlight your best qualities and downplay your flaws in words? I am no exception. A contradiction in almost all facets of my life, traditional, but progressive, serious, yet funny, getting older, but feeling younger, etc...
I consider myself easy going, positive, and happy with my life. Flexibility and empathy are a must in any relationship, because everyone approaches a situation from their perspectives and past experiences. My friends would say I am generous to a fault and over the top in everything I do, that is just a part of my personality. I am ready for a steady relationship, one that starts with a friendship, and not just on here to play the field.
I have strong opinions about many topics, but like to engage in intelligent conversation to learn more. Yet, I also like to laugh, smile, and have fun. I think of myself as an active person, not a passive wallflower, that watches from the sidelines. I would rather have loved and lost, than not have loved at all. Having said that, as Kevin Costner says in For the Love of the Game, "I used to believe, I still do, that if you give something your all it doesn't matter if you win or lose, as long as you've risked everything put everything out there."
I just recently took up running to enhance my cycling, so I am definately willing to try new things.
If you are looking for the perfect person, there is no perfect person, it is just what you can live with for the rest of your life.
If you are a person that is willing to experience new things, smile and laugh at yourself, then perhaps you are the person for me.
